Functional Cell-Based Assays and Reagents
BD Biosciences offers a complete suite of assays and reagents for visualizing key cellular events. Monitor apoptosis and proliferation along with other cellular processes such as protein phosphorylation or cytokine secretion within heterogeneous cell populations using flow cytometry. You can also detect these events using immunohistochemistry, cell imaging or western blotting.
Functional Cell-Based Assays and Reagents
Choose from a variety of BD Biosciences assays and reagents for visualizing cellular events such as apoptosis, cell proliferation and the cell cycle.
Flow cytometry–based assays and kits for detecting apoptosis; |
Measurement of intracellular calcium changes. |
Identification and quantification of caspase-3 activity in apoptotic cells. |
Flow cytometric enumeration of damaged cells through the detection of micronuclei within each cell. |
Recombinant proteins for cell culture, standard curves and other applications. |
Apoptosis Reagents
BD Biosciences provides you a choice of flow cytometry–based kits for the detection of early apoptotic cells. In addition, you can find purified antibodies for detection of apoptosis using various other techniques.
BD® Calcium Assay Kits
The BD® Calcium Assay Kits enable the measurement of intracellular calcium changes caused by activation of G-protein coupled receptors or calcium channels, quickly and easily, by flow cytometry.
Caspase Substrates and Inhibitors
BD Biosciences provides a variety of reagents for the identification and quantification of caspase-3 activity in apoptotic cells. In addition, BD Biosciences offers caspase inhibitors that can be used as controls and substrates.
Micronucleus Assays
BD Biosciences offers kits that can be used to detect chromosomal damage from test conditions via flow cytometric enumeration of micronuclei, particularly in erythrocytes, in mouse, rat, canine and non-human primate species.
Recombinant Proteins
BD Biosciences has a variety of recombinant proteins that can be used in cell culture and as quantitative standards and controls for various applications.
