Immunoassay Reagents
BD Biosciences offers a choice of immunoassays for the measurement of cytokines, chemokines, growth factors, and other soluble and intracellular proteins. Whether you want to measure a single analyte with high sensitivity, need to analyze individual cells that secrete a specific protein, or want to analyze multiple proteins simultaneously, our range of immunoassay offerings suit your specific need.
Choose from a large menu of optimized BD Biosciences tools for the cytokine specificity you want to quantitate and in the format you need (ELISA, ELISPOT or cytometric bead array)
BD® Cytometric Bead Array (CBA) Solution | BD Immunoassay ELISA Reagents | BD® ELISPOT Reagents | |
Feature |
Bead-based assays designed for multiplexing. Enable measurement of up to 30 proteins simultaneously from a single sample.
|
Enzyme-based immunosorbent assays (ELISA). Three convenient sandwich ELISA formats for fast and easy quantitation of cytokines and other soluble proteins.
|
Enzyme-linked immunospot assays (ELISPOT). High-quality ELISPOT reagents with the flexibility to choose among several formats and a high-throughput ELISPOT plate reader for intuitive analysis of cytokines at the single-cell level.

BD® Cytometric Bead Array Solution
Measure a variety of soluble and intracellular proteins, including cytokines, chemokines, growth factors and phosphorylated signaling proteins. BD® CBA Solutions enable the simultaneous measurement of up to 30 proteins using just 25 to 50 μL of sample. Available in preconfigured kits or in an open, configurable format for unique needs.
BD Immunoassay ELISA Reagents
Find flexible reagent formats. Individual reagents comprising unlabeled capture antibodies, biotinylated detection antibodies and protein standards offering a wide range of specificities and assay design flexibility. Individual single-vial reagents for sandwich ELISAs are also available, offering flexibility to develop your own immunoassay.
BD® ELISPOT Reagents
Choose among several formats: ready-to-use kits with precoated BD® ELISPOT Plates, coat-it-yourself sets, and matched antibody pairs for your human, nonhuman primate or mouse research. The ELISPOT assay is a powerful tool for detecting and analyzing individual cells that secrete a particular protein in vitro. Although originally developed for analyzing specific antibody-secreting cells, the assay has been adapted to measure the frequencies of cells that produce and secrete a variety of other effector molecules such as cytokines.
