BD Horizon™ Lyo Cocktails

The lyophilized panels reduce inter-experiment variability and come with long shelf lives making them ideal choices for multisite and longitudinal studies. A wide variety of reagents and dyes are available for cocktailing, including BD Horizon Brilliant™ Dye Reagents. Lyophilized panels can be manufactured in a variety of packaging options to meet customer requirements including tubes, microtubes, plates and multi-test vials.

In addition to our lyophilized panels, we also offer BD Lyoplate™ Plates, lyophilized beads and lyophilized cells.

Lyophilized PBMCs as controls

Lyophilized cells are excellent as staining, instrument setup or gating controls. We can manufacture lyophilized PBMCs and cell lines. In this experiment, freshly fixed, permeabilized and stained PBMCs were compared to lyophilized cells that were stained with conjugates to CD69 and IFN-γ (left and middle). Freshly prepared cells were also compared to cells that were stained and then lyophilized (right). There was virtually no difference in signal intensity or cellular events between these three preparations.
